Disclaimers
Health, nutrition and AI-content disclaimers for the trackers and the artwork.

The apps are self-tracking tools, not medical devices. Nothing in them, and nothing on this site, is medical, dietary, psychological or professional advice. If you are making a decision about your health, talk to a doctor or a pharmacist — not to an app that counts things for you.
Not health or medical advice
Vape Tracker, Soda Tracker and Fast Food Tracker record what you tell them, do arithmetic on it, and show it back to you. They are built to help you change a habit — but helping is not treating. They do not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, they are not registered as therapeutic goods with the Therapeutic Goods Administration, and they have not been reviewed by any health authority.
Targets, streaks, totals and charts in the apps are just arithmetic on the numbers you entered. They are not a clinical assessment of whether your intake is safe, healthy or appropriate for you. Individual circumstances — pregnancy, diabetes, heart conditions, medications, eating disorders and much else — change what those numbers mean, and an app cannot know about them.
Never delay or stop seeking professional advice because of something one of these apps showed you. If you think you are having a medical emergency, call 000 in Australia, or your local emergency number.
Vaping, nicotine and Vape Tracker
What this app is for
Vape Tracker exists to help people cut down or stop vaping. That is the entire point of it. It is for adults aged 18 and over who already vape and want to use less, or none. It is not for people who do not vape, it is not for minors, and nothing in it is built to make vaping look appealing.
The app does not sell, supply, advertise or promote vaping products, e-liquids, nicotine or any related goods. There is no shop, no affiliate link and no product recommendation anywhere in it. It will never suggest you vape more, and it has no feature that rewards you for doing so.
What it does is put your own numbers in front of you — how often, how much nicotine, how much money — and track the reduction targets you set. Seeing the real weekly total is, for a lot of people, the thing that starts the change.
Wanting to help you quit is not the same as treating you
This distinction matters, so it is worth stating plainly. Vape Tracker is a self-monitoring and behaviour-change tool. It is not a therapeutic good, it is not registered with the Therapeutic Goods Administration, and it does not diagnose, treat or manage nicotine dependence as a medical condition. It does not prescribe a tapering schedule or any other course of treatment, and it does not tell you what your nicotine intake ought to be.
Every target in the app is a number you chose. No claim is made, expressly or by implication, that using this app will make you quit, that it is clinically effective, or that it works as well as any recognised cessation method.
Where the real help is
Quitting works best with proper support behind it, and an app on your phone is not a substitute for that. Stopping nicotine can produce genuine withdrawal effects, and there are approaches — including prescribed products and structured counselling — that a health professional can talk you through properly. Use the app alongside these, not instead of them:
- Quitline — 13 7848, free and confidential coaching, or quit.org.au
- healthdirect — 1800 022 222, free health advice, 24 hours
- Your GP or pharmacist, who can talk through the options that suit your situation
Vaping is not risk-free and nicotine is addictive. In Australia the supply of vaping products is regulated and has changed substantially in recent years — the current rules are on the TGA vaping hub and at health.gov.au. It is your responsibility to know and follow the law where you live.
Nutrition figures are estimates
Soda Tracker and Fast Food Tracker deal in approximations, and you should treat every number in them that way.
- Soda Tracker draws product and nutrition information from Open Food Facts, an open, crowd-sourced database that anyone can edit. Entries can be incomplete, out of date, wrong for your country's formulation, or simply wrong. I do not author, verify or control that data.
- Fast Food Tracker works from published or estimated figures for menu items. Recipes, portion sizes and suppliers change constantly and vary by country, franchise and even by individual store.
The packaging in your hand beats the app every time. Where a figure matters — an allergy, a medical diet, a caffeine limit — read the label or ask the retailer. The apps are not a substitute for a nutrition information panel, an allergen declaration or advice from an Accredited Practising Dietitian.
Allergen information in particular should never be relied on from these apps. If you have a food allergy or intolerance, confirm with the manufacturer or the venue.
Accuracy, availability and your own data
I try to keep the apps working correctly, but I do not warrant that they are error-free, uninterrupted, or that calculations are exact. Bugs happen. Devices fail. Third-party services go down. If your logs matter to you, export or back them up yourself — because the data lives on your device, a lost or wiped phone means lost records, and I hold no copy to restore from.
AI-generated artwork, video and music
The images, video and music published on Sly Realms are produced by me using generative AI tools, then selected, edited and finished by hand. They are works of fantasy.
- People, places, creatures and events depicted are fictional. Any resemblance to a real person, living or dead, or to a real place or event, is unintended and coincidental.
- Nothing depicted is a photograph of a real event, and nothing should be treated as a factual record of anything.
- Prompts and ComfyUI workflows shared in The Lab are provided as they are, for you to learn from. Results depend on your own models, versions and settings. I make no promise that a workflow will reproduce a given image, or that it is fit for any purpose.
